Work Sample Organizer
Turns Schoology downloads into EB, 504, and SPED work-sample folders. Nothing leaves this computer.
Step 1: Add your Schoology downloads
How to get the ZIP files
- In Schoology, open the assignment and click Download All. It saves a ZIP file, usually to your Downloads folder.
- Put that ZIP in the matching Work Sample box below. Click the button or drag the file onto the box.
- Enter the assignment's due date, then click Continue at the bottom.
Teach more than one class? Add each class's ZIP to the same box.
Step 2: Choose students
Check EB, 504, or SPED for each student who needs a folder. A student can have more than one. Students with no boxes checked are skipped.
Load it and the boxes are checked for you. You can still change any checkmark.

Step 3: Record accommodations
Students go in order by program: 504 first, then SPED, then EB, each A to Z. A student in more than one program shows up in each one. Look at the work, then check what was used for each sample, or check No accommodations were used. When a column's Same as previous column button lights up, one click copies the column just before it. That can be the same student's last sample or, for Sample 1, the previous student's last sample.
Done! Your organized ZIP is ready
Click the green button to save it. It goes to your Downloads folder.
Save your student list. It has only student ID numbers and EB / 504 / SPED checkmarks, with no names. Next time, load it on Step 2 and the boxes are checked for you.
